We launched our newest offering, Realtime Tickets, only a month ago and we’ve been delighted to receive all the feedback over that time.
Over the last month, we’ve continued to work away at improving Realtime Tickets and today we are sharing the first step in a series of updates to Daytripper:
- On every destination suggestion, you’ll now see a headline journey time based on the typical fastest journey time to get there.
- We now filter destination suggestions so that we’ll no longer suggest impossible day trips over long distances later in the day.
- Daytripper’s suggested prices are now ‘up to’. When you pick a destination, we’ll take you to a return journey search, rather than the previous open return, so you can benefit from Advance and split ticketing making it even cheaper to go out by train.
We’ve not rested on our laurels and have made a series of updates to everywhere else based on requests, including but not limited to:
- Request stops are now better highlighted in journey information windows
- We’ve made the return validity on open return bookings clearer
- Basket now has information buttons to see ticket selection and journey information throughout
- Improvement around highlighting journeys departing on different dates to that selected
- Fare Notes (such as GroupSave discount restrictions or Tube validity) are now included in Ticket Information window
- Cross-London ticket information has been improved
