East Midlands Railway are today the twelfth train operator to participate in our Know Your Train service, meaning it now covers more than half of all mainline train services in Great Britain.
They operate intercity rail services from London St Pancras along the Midland Main Line to destinations including Corby, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, and Sheffield, as well as regional services throughout the East Midlands stretching as far as Liverpool in the west and Norwich in the east.
Know Your Train is our way of providing more information about the actual train operating than anything else. We will tell you what the train will look like, what facilities you can expect to find onboard and where your coach will be.
Know Your Train is now available on trains services operated by twelve mainline train operators including major intercity, regional and commuter routes, and one heritage railway. It now covers more than half of all mainline train services services which operate nearly two thirds of all miles traversed by passenger rail services in the UK.
The train operators participating in order of joining are ScotRail, LNER, Caledonian Sleeper, Northern, CrossCountry, c2c, South Western Railway, Avanti West Coast, TransPennine Express, Transport for Wales, Great Western Railway and East Midlands Railway. Train allocation information is also available from GB Railfreight and Locomotive Services.
