As mentioned in March, we are now offering extensions to accounts that held a valid subscription between 16th and 27th March. If you are eligible for the extension, then the dashboard will show a box detailing information about the extension and a button to take it.
The details of the extension are as follows:
- If you held a valid account between 16th and 27th March 2020 and have not opted out by email, you are eligible for an extension to your subscription.
- A user with an eligible account may take their extension, when the facility becomes available, by clicking on a button in My RailMiles. You can opt out by not clicking the button.
- The extension will be half the number of days between 16th March and the day at which you take the extension. The maximum extension is six months. For example, an extension taken on 12 June would result in 44 days being added to the account.
- The extension will be added to an account as if a subscription renewal was made, e.g. an expired account will become active again.
With the change to travel advice in England for public transport to travelling safely, rather than essential travel only, we felt the time was right to offer this.
Extensions can be taken up to and including 31st December.
