Over the course of the last two months or so, one of the most frequently asked questions was “why do the facilities not show up?” about Know Your Train train diagrams in the detailed mode.
Put simply, the primary reason for this was to not push the page content down too far so that it is still relatively easy to get to service information on mobile devices. The number of queries received about this from our users on the move in the few weeks we had before travel restrictions were rather high.
To add facilities information into the detailed pages was not a particularly easy task due to different implementations being used between the two forms of pages. I’m pleased to say that this has now been altered and all facilities information, together with train length information, will now be displayed on all detailed train pages where the data is available.
